I love to make this pizza when I know the rest of my family will also be having pizza. That way I am not tempted in any way. I also just make it when we get the craving for some tasty pizza.
Even though our food restrictions can at times feel overwhelming, it can start to seem like we don't get to eat anything good. I love to prove that wrong! We can eat great food, yes it can take a little more work but we can eat great, fulfilling foods!
As you can see in the photo below this crust will really hold up to these toppings!
Creamy Garlic Cauliflower Sauce (for the sauce)
Toppings: I use the Applegate pepperoni but if you can not tolerate that you could use something else. Even chopped crisp bacon or prosciutto. The ingredients here are fresh spinach, sautéed onion and mushrooms and kalamata olives.
But you could also do artichoke hearts, bacon, any kind of olives, pineapple, zip sausage, mushrooms, chicken, roasted garlic cloves, anchovies, onions, fresh herbs, zucchini ... etc
Place the pizza back into the oven on broil and broil it until the top begins to brown. Pay close attention to this step and downy burn your beauty before you even get a chance to sink your teeth into it!!
Let the pizza sit for a couple of min. Slice and ENJOY!!
